The Professional Services team works with some of the nation’s leading insurance companies to implement new Sircon systems. As a key member of PSO, the Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and documenting client requirements, developing innovative solutions using Sircon products, and assuring quality products and services.
Requirements:
- Identify and document client business requirements;
- Create specifications that meet client, product, department and company standards;
- Define specifications and data models for client specific configurations;
- Perform quality assurance on client configurations as well as plan, implement, and unit test solutions;
- Participate in other key activities such as evaluations and prioritization of new features, train new employees, and lead teams to address business and/or system issues; and
- Travel to client sites (10-15%).
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed analysis and design, and translate client needs into cost effective automated solutions;
- Excellent time management and communication (oral and written) skills;
- Technical competency sufficient to learn software tools;
- Advanced technical knowledge of MS Office Tools; and
- General knowledge of relational databases, XML, CSS.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, mathematics, or related field.
Experience Recommended:
- Minimum 2 years business analysis, quality assurance, or development experience; and
- Experience in a web product development company, consulting organization, or large IT department.
