Responsibilities: · Primary point of contact for all Wintel based product groups for application management · Manage a group of application engineers and put together an on-call rotation for after hours support · Create/maintain standard processes for all activities · Focus on change management for all application changes · Drive manual processes into automated solutions by working with the development teams · Create and maintain documentation for all SaaS delivered products and provide feedback to software development · Work closely with customer support and professional services organizations to provide a high level of customer satisfaction with our SaaS products
Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required · 6 years of combined project management experience desired. · Experience programming or managing software development in complex, transaction-intensive web-based systems highly desired. · Prior experience in technical writing, quality assurance, or business analysis desirable. · Excellent oral and written communication skills required including ability to make effective presentations, create project documentation artifacts, and interact effectively in negotiations and team settings serving multiple levels of constituents. · Although this is a technical lead role, a demonstrated customer centric focus is required as well as the ability to represent the SaaS operations team to customers and/or potential customers in small and larger forums · Must possess highly developed analytical skills (required) to solve complex technical problems to plan and direct the work of a diversified staff · Ability to support a 24x7x365 operation with the ability to work "on call" outside of normal business hours
